JON ZAPATA

Born in Colombia and raised in Hudson County, New Jersey, J.Z. has worked in tattoo shops since 2012. It was there he discovered his passion for illustration which lead him to return to school obtaining his BFA in Illustration and Graphic Design from New Jersey City University in 2018. Tattooing since 2021, J.Z. enjoys finding ways to mix masculine and feminine energies in his designs, creating tattoos that can be enjoyed by anyone who looks at them. In his free time he is listening to true crime podcasts, watching ghost videos on YouTube, catching Pokémon, or watching anime.
