NLQ

NLQ, otherwise known as Nick Lopez de Quintana, was born in Miami, Florida in 1983. At an early age, he was intrigued by art and enjoyed artists of all mediums. Throughout his life, Nick has enjoyed many artists that are often “under the radar” and can't always be found in popular museums. It wouldn’t be long until Nik would begin a special journey into the world of art.   In 2004,  Nick took  his first steps  into the world of tattooing in Miami, Florida. Over the next five years, he acquired the tools and knowledge about tattooing that  would be used throughout his career.

Nick's  journey would soon lead to Rockabilly Tattoo in Lauderhill, Florida, where he continued to populate Floridians with a unique style of tattooing.

In 2011, the winds of change began to stir, and he was ready; and would soon locate much further North on the Eastern Coast, to Brooklyn, New York, taking-up residence at East River Tattoo.

Always looking to further the artistic journey,

Nick's  journey ended back in Brooklyn, where he currently works  at  Three Kings Tattoo.
